Recently, diesel vehicles have been quite popular throughout the United States. Almost every major automaker including the Chrysler Group is planning on creating a diesel option for one of their models. At Dishman you can find RAM and Jeep options with an alternative to regular fuel, but the Chrysler brand may see this soon.

The individuals in charge of the Chrysler 300 announced that we could see a diesel edition of the luxury sedan sometime soon. No other details have come about, but this is very encouraging news to us. Why? It gives drivers another option when they are looking for new Chrysler vehicles, but also gives more efficiency. Another interesting tidbit of info is that the diesel platform is already in place.

All of the diesel vehicles under the Chrysler Dodge Jeep and RAM brands are made by VM Motori. In Europe, VM Motori makes a V-6 diesel edition of the 300, since the emission standards are higher in the U.S, it will take more development time.

Along with the 300 getting a diesel trim, a few of us think that the Chrysler 200 could get one as well. We will be discussing this a great deal going forward, so be sure to check back on the Dishman blog regularly.

To learn more some of the new Chrysler models within the Dishman showroom, stop by our dealership located at East 7700 Sprague Avenue in Spokane, WA. Our sales team can answer any questions you may have and even set you up with a test drive.
