The 2013 New York Auto Show recently took place, and the Jeep brand made a big splash at the event. Jeep unveiled the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee it turned some heads to say the least, while it doesn't look much like the previous version of the Cherokee but it defiantly has some futuristic style. Now that we have some information regarding the details of the Cherokee we'd like to take a moment to share them with you.

Jeep believes that the new design will appeal to the masses in the crossover market. Mark Allen, the head designer for Jeep had this to say "It's a real different direction for Jeep. It is a much more modern look than I think people were expecting, but that's OK. It's aimed right at the heart of the hottest SUV market, the mid-size segment."1

The new Jeep Cherokee will be replacing the Jeep Liberty, and it will be positioned to look like a crossover opposed to its former "boxy" versions in the 80s. Its significantly more aerodynamic which will lead to drivers saving a bunch at the pump.

There's a lot more to be learned about the new Cherokee, so check out our blog regularly for updates. Until then, we encourage you to visit Dishman Dodge in Spokane to see the rest of our new Jeep lineup.
