New Home, New Looks for the Redesigned 2016 Dodge Journey

Here on the Dishman Dodge Chrysler blog, we're always looking ahead to see what the future brings for vehicles in our showroom. Not too far ahead, because there is, and always will be quality new Dodge models currently available, but you get the idea. Today, we've been thinking about the next-generation Journey and what's in store for the crossover.

For starters, it's getting a new production home. After a good run being put together in Mexico, the Journey is headed back to the United States and will be assembled at the Sterling Heights, Michigan plant, which is also responsible for the Chrysler 200, a model that is set to be refreshed as well.

The Dodge Journey will also sport a new platform: the CUSW that is synonymous with vehicles like the Dart. When it's made, the crossover is slated to have a European counterpart, too. It's the FIAT Freemont. We're guessing that both models will take cues from each other, making them fun to drive, and stylish.

Right now, that's all we know. As the release date comes closer, you can bet we'll be blogging about it, so follow us today.

In the meantime, we invite you to check out the Journey and the rest of the new Dodge lineup like the Charger and Challenger sports cars at Dishman Dodge Chrysler in our Spokane, WA showroom. We'd be happy to provide you with additional details, answer any questions you might have, and arrange test drives in models that grab your attention.
